A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Grand Forks ND. It is effective from tonight until further notice.

The warning affects Polk, MN and Grand Forks, ND, specifically along the Red River of the North at East Grand Forks, impacting Grand Forks and Polk Counties.

Turn around, don't drown. Do not travel through flooded areas. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. This warning will remain in effect until the river falls below its flood stage.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. The river stage is currently at 24.9 feet and is expected to rise above the flood stage of 28.0 feet tonight, cresting at 32.9 feet on Friday afternoon. At 33.0 feet, agricultural flooding begins along the Red River of the North between Grand Forks and Oslo.
