Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.9 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (26.0 feet) this evening to a crest of 28.6 feet Friday morning, then fall below flood stage Friday evening. At 29.0 feet, backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of Highway B.
