Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in New Orleans LA. The alert is effective from May 25 at 1:06PM CDT and remains in effect until May 29 at 7:00AM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana and Hancock and Pearl River Counties in Mississippi, specifically for the Pearl River near Pearl River.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 12:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 13.9 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (14.0 feet) this afternoon to a crest of 14.5 feet tomorrow morning. At 14.0 feet, secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated, and property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded, threatening about 20 homes along the left bank.
