A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Mobile AL. The alert is effective from May 30 at 9:49AM CDT and remains in effect until May 31 at 3:00PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers George County, MS; Greene County, MS; and Jackson County, MS, specifically for the Pascagoula River at Merrill.

Minor flooding is occurring. At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.7 feet. Flood stage is 22.0 feet. At 22.0 feet, water approaches homes in west Merrill.

The warning is effective immediately and continues until Sunday afternoon. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
