A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Mobile AL for the Pascagoula River at Merrill. The alert was sent at 9:29 AM CDT on May 9, 2026, and is effective from Monday evening, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM CDT until further notice.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday evening and continue rising to a crest of 22.5 feet Wednesday morning. The current stage as of 8:15 AM CDT Saturday was 18.4 feet.
