Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from June 17 at 11:20AM EDT and remains in effect until June 23 at 11:20PM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Parke, IN; Vermillion, IN; and Vigo, IN. Specific rivers mentioned include the Wabash River at Montezuma, the Wabash River at Lafayette, and the East Fork White River at Seymour.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At the Wabash River at Montezuma, the river is expected to rise above flood stage (14.0 feet) to 16.8 feet early Friday morning, fall to 16.7 feet early Saturday morning, then rise to 17.6 feet Sunday evening before falling below flood stage late Tuesday morning. At 18.0 feet, the Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped and fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.
