Flood Warning issued by NWS Tulsa OK. Effective from 9:42 AM CDT June 8, 2026 until 3:30 PM CDT June 8, 2026. Replaces previous Flash Flood Warning.

Affected Areas

A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including Ottawa County. Specific locations include Miami, Commerce, Quapaw, Wyandotte, Picher, Ottawa, Peoria, Cardin, and Twin Bridges State Park.

What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Expected Conditions

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding is ongoing but additional heavy rain is unlikely.
