Flood Warning issued by NWS Rapid City SD (NOAA). Effective from June 2 at 8:41 PM MDT until June 3 at 8:45 PM MDT. Alert type code: FA.W.
Affected Areas
Southwestern Oglala Lakota County in southwestern South Dakota, including areas near Wounded Knee Creek, Alkali Creek, Grass Creek, Slim Butte Creek, White Clay Creek, Janis Creek, and other tributaries to the White River.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Water levels will remain elevated after the rain subsides.
