Flood Warning issued by NWS Chicago IL (NOAA). Effective from August 1 at 9:09 AM CDT until August 1 at 1:00 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
Central Cook County, DuPage County, Southeastern Kane County, Kendall County, and Northwestern Will County in northeastern Illinois. Locations include Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Evanston, Bolingbrook, Skokie, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Romeoville, Plainfield, Park Ridge and Addison.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen, with up to 1 additional inch possible from scattered heavy rain showers. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. High water may recede slowly. Area creeks and streams are already elevated.
