Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Hastings NE. The alert is effective from June 3 at 10:21 PM CDT until June 4 at 10:00 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers southwestern Jewell County, northwestern Mitchell County, Osborne County, and southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas. Specific locations include Osborne, Downs, Cawker City, Tipton, and Portis.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have already fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches possible. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Flooding is ongoing on Highway 24 between Osborne and Downs, and numerous roads have been barricaded due to flooding.
