Flood Warning issued by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. Effective from May 19, 2026 at 1:30 AM CDT until May 19, 2026 at 9:30 AM CDT. Replaces previous Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Northern Nodaway County and northwestern Worth County in northwestern Missouri. Specific locations include Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Skidmore, Braddyville, Irena, Sheridan, Clearmont, Pickering and Quitman.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Expected Conditions
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches possible.
