Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 6.3 feet. Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 19.2 feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday evening. At 17.0 feet, low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin to flood.
