What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even higher than predicted.

Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. At 15.0 feet, the first quarter mile of Edison Avenue beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding. At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.3 feet.

Timeline

From this evening to Friday afternoon. The river will rise to 15.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall Monday evening. It will rise to 15.7 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning. Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
