Mad River near Springfield. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mad River near Springfield. * WHEN...From this afternoon to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, In addition to flooding along Lower Valley Pike between Old Mill Road and State Route 369, Spengler Road is flooded, and the I-70 Westbound exit to Medway at route 675 is closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.4 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
