A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Wichita KS. The alert is effective from May 30 at 7:27 PM CDT until May 30 at 11:30 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers a portion of south central Kansas, specifically Kingman County and Reno County. Locations that will experience flooding include Kingman, Pretty Prairie, Cunningham, Turon, Murdock, Waterloo, Cleveland, Penalosa, Kingman Airport, Mt Vernon, Cheney Lake and Cheney State Park.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
