The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO has issued a Flood Warning. This alert is effective from April 23, 2026, at 10:55 PM CDT until April 24, 2026, at 5:55 PM CDT.

Minor flooding is forecast. The river stage is currently at 17.7 feet and is expected to rise above the flood stage of 20.0 feet to a crest of 22.8 feet, then fall below flood stage. At 20.0 feet, water begins to cover the portion of Lee Boulevard south of Interstate 435. At 23.0 feet, the parking lot just west of State Line Road begins to flood.
