A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from May 18, 2026 at 10:02 PM EDT until further notice.

Youngs Creek at Amity in southeast Johnson County, central Indiana.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is occurring and forecast. At 9:15 PM EDT Monday the stage was 7.6 feet. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.5 feet tomorrow morning. Flood stage is 7.0 feet. At 10.0 feet, significant flooding in progress with parks and some local roads flooded by a foot or more of water and noticeable agricultural flooding.
