Flood Warning issued by NWS Corpus Christi TX. Effective from 11:30 AM CDT June 16 until 1:30 PM CDT June 16. Replaces previous Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Northern Jim Wells County, Northwestern Kleberg County, Northwestern Nueces County, and Southwestern San Patricio County in south central Texas. Specific locations include Alice, Orange Grove, Midway, Alfred, Alfred-South La Paloma, Tecalote, Westdale, Alice Acres, Ben Bolt, Sandia, and Lake Alice.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible.
