Flooding caused by an ice jam is occurring. Minor flooding is expected in low-lying and poor drainage areas. At 7:52 AM AKDT, water levels were reported near 10.0 feet in Bethel at the BETA2 river gauge, above the flood stage of 8.5 feet. River flows are elevated with an ice jam in place a few miles south of Bethel between Napakiak and Oscarville-Napaskiak.
