Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 5:30 AM EDT the stage was 19.7 feet. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.0 feet this afternoon. At 20.0 feet, water covers parts of Fredericksburg-Depauw Road near the river. At 22.0 feet, backroads in town flood and water approaches US 150. At 23.0 feet, US 150 is closed. At 24.0 feet, water surrounds some homes along backroads. Flood stage is 20.0 feet and bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
