A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert was sent at 12:23PM EDT on June 20, 2026, and is effective from 12:23PM EDT on June 20 until 2:00AM EDT on June 30.

The warning covers Gibson County, IN and Knox County, IN, specifically the White River at Hazleton.

Expected Conditions
Minor river flooding is forecast. The river will rise above flood stage (16.0 feet) early Tuesday morning to 16.9 feet Tuesday evening. It will fall Thursday morning, then rise to 17.9 feet on Sunday, June 28, before falling below flood stage on Monday, June 29. At 18.0 feet, floodwaters cover much low ground in agricultural season, low lying oil fields, Pottsville Road and possibly other low rural roads, and high water isolates Pottstown.
