A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley NE. The alert is effective from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Even six inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of two feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and don't drown.
Expected Conditions
Moderate flooding is forecast. At 25.0 feet, water begins to overtop Blueridge Drive and likely many county roads along the river. At 10:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.1 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 25.9 feet early Sunday morning. Flood stage is 23.5 feet.
