A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from June 6 at 7:57 PM EDT until June 6 at 11:00 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Fountain County, Northwestern Montgomery County, Southwestern Tippecanoe County, Northwestern Vermillion County, and Southwestern Warren County in west central Indiana. Locations that will experience flooding include Crawfordsville, Covington, Veedersburg, Waynetown, Linden, Hillsboro, Perrysville, New Richmond, Wingate, Newtown, Mellott, State Line City, Wallace, Alamo, Yeddo, Foster and Gessie.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches possible. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
