Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Chicago IL. The alert is effective from August 1 at 10:56 PM CDT and remains in effect until August 2 at 12:00 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers DuPage County and Will County in Illinois, specifically the East Branch Du Page River from Maple Avenue in Lisle downstream to the confluence with the West Branch DuPage River, including the Bolingbrook gauge.

A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and property.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 10:40 PM CDT on Saturday the stage was 19.9 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 20.1 feet just after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. At 20.0 feet, the DuPage River Greenway Trail is threatened east of the river near Royce Road in Bolingbrook, and trails are threatened at Green Valley Forest Preserve near Woodridge.
