Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County. .Heavy rainfall expected this week will bring some local rivers into Flood Stage. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Horse Creek near Arcadia at SR 72. * WHEN...From Thursday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Buildings in Hidden Oak flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue rising to 13.4 feet Friday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.4 feet on 09/23/1983. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
