A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from May 18 at 8:57 PM EDT, with onset at May 20 at 12:00 PM EDT, and remains in effect until May 27 at 5:20 AM EDT.

The warning covers Daviess, Gibson, Knox, and Pike counties in Indiana. Specific locations include the White River at Elliston, Newberry, Edwardsport, and Petersburg, as well as the Eel River at Bowling Green.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At the White River at Petersburg, the river is expected to rise above flood stage (16.0 feet) early Wednesday afternoon to a crest of 19.9 feet Saturday evening before falling below flood stage on Tuesday, May 26. At 7:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 10.8 feet. At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56 floods.
