Flood Warning issued by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO at 1:52PM CDT on May 18, 2026. Effective from late tonight through Thursday morning.

Moderate flooding is forecast. At 1:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 2.7 feet. Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Timeline

The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 20.5 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. Alert in effect from May 19 at 4:50AM CDT until May 21 at 8:00AM CDT.
