A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Fort Worth for the following rivers in Texas. The alert is effective from June 14 at 3:50 PM CDT.

Sister Grove Creek Near Blue Ridge affecting Collin County, Texas.

What You Should Do

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 24.0 feet, minor out of bank flooding along the creek is expected. Rural roads, along with farm and ranch land near the creek, will begin to flood. At 3:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 24.3 feet this evening.

Timeline

The warning is in effect until Monday morning, June 15 at 8:00 AM CDT. The river will then fall below flood stage this evening. Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
