A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Mobile AL. The alert is effective from May 28, 2026 at 10:07 PM CDT and remains in effect until May 30, 2026 at 2:12 PM CDT.

What You Should Do
At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on the west side of the river. Residents should avoid flooded areas.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to crest at 24.3 feet.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage on Friday morning, crest tomorrow evening, and fall below flood stage Saturday morning. The current stage was 22.8 feet at 9:00 PM CDT Thursday. Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
