Flood Warning issued by NWS Houston/Galveston TX. Effective from 10:31 AM CDT June 17, 2026 until 12:00 PM CDT June 17, 2026. This replaces a prior Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Chambers County, Harris County and Liberty County in southeast Texas. Specific locations include Pasadena, Baytown, La Porte, Deer Park, South Houston, northern Seabrook, Galena Park, Beach City, Highlands, Channelview, Barrett, Cloverleaf, northern Clear Lake, northeastern South Belt / Ellington, Crosby, Mont Belvieu, Taylor Lake Village, Shoreacres, Old River-Winfree and Cove.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch possible. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring with many areas of slow moving or standing water.
