Flood Warning issued by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. Effective from June 13 at 3:10 PM CDT until June 17 at 4:00 AM CDT. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Expected.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Expected Conditions
Moderate flooding is forecast. At 20.0 feet, the west bank of the creek begins to flood. At 23.0 feet, flooding occurs at the west approach to the N Highway bridge 0.2 miles west of Blairstown and across B Highway near Big Creek. At 26.0 feet, many farm levees along Big Creek are overtopped.
Timeline
Onset June 13 at 10:12 PM CDT. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 24.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. Alert ends June 17 at 4:00 AM CDT.
