Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX. The alert was sent at 8:21 PM CDT on June 20, 2026, and is effective from that time. It is in effect from Monday morning to early Friday morning.

The warning covers Brazos, Grimes, and Madison Counties in Texas, specifically the Navasota River near Normangee.

Expected Conditions
Moderate flooding is forecast. At 18.0 feet, moderate lowland flooding begins as three channels merge into one below State Highway 21, with widespread inundation of the floodplain and the river more than 1.5 miles wide. Long Trussel Road in northeast Brazos County below State Highway 21 becomes inundated. The river is expected to crest near 19.9 feet late Monday evening.
