A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX. The alert was sent at 10:22AM CDT on June 16, 2026, and is effective from 5:30PM CDT June 16 through 6:01AM CDT June 18.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (7.0 feet) late this afternoon to a crest of 7.8 feet tomorrow morning before falling below flood stage tomorrow evening. At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 5.4 feet. At 7.5 feet, Lazy G RV Boat Ramp takes on water.
