Flood Warning issued by NWS Fort Worth TX. Effective from 2026-05-25T01:35:00-05:00 until 2026-05-25T04:30:00-05:00. Replaces Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Bosque County and Hamilton County in central Texas. Specific locations include Hico, Iredell, Walnut Springs, and Fairy.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are forecast. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is ongoing or imminent. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may be impassable.
