Flood Warning issued by NWS Indianapolis IN. Effective from 3:45 PM EDT August 15, 2026 until 9:00 PM EDT August 15, 2026. Replaces Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Boone County in central Indiana, Carroll County (southern) in north central Indiana, Clinton County in central Indiana, and Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana. Specific locations include Lafayette, Frankfort, West Lafayette, Lebanon, Zionsville, Whitestown, Rossville, Shadeland, Thorntown, Dayton, Battle Ground, Mulberry, Jamestown, Kirklin, Colfax, Advance, Michigantown, Ulen and Purdue University.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches possible. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
