Flood Warning issued by NWS Mobile AL. Effective from June 21 at 10:07AM CDT until June 22 at 10:00PM CDT.

Blackwater River near Baker affecting Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Covington Counties.

What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is occurring and forecast. At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.6 feet. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. At 16.0 feet, some residential flooding occurs downstream from the Highway 4 bridge.

Timeline

The warning is now in effect until Monday evening. The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.4 feet Friday morning.
