A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from June 5 at 12:55AM CDT, with onset at 6:16AM CDT.

Expected Conditions

Moderate flooding is forecast. At 27.0 feet, the east approach to the County Road bridge over the Delaware River around 2.2 miles south of Muscotah is overtopped by flood waters, with flooding of low-lying pasture and cropland. At 34.0 feet, water reaches the bottom of the 262nd Road bridge, with widespread flooding of secondary roads and agricultural land.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 33.1 feet this afternoon. It will fall below flood stage late tonight. Flood stage is 27.0 feet. The warning remains in effect until June 7 at 3:00AM CDT.
