Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from June 21 at 9:42AM CDT and remains in effect until June 23 at 1:00AM CDT.

The warning covers Atchison County, Kansas, specifically the Delaware River near Muscotah. Additional impacts are noted for Stranger Creek at Easton affecting Atchison and Leavenworth Counties.

Expected Conditions
Moderate flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 28.4 feet this evening. Flood stage is 27.0 feet. At 27.0 feet, the east approach to the County Road bridge over the Delaware River around 2.2 miles south of Muscotah is overtopped by flood waters, with flooding of low-lying pasture and cropland.
