Alert Details
A Flood Warning (event code FLW) has been issued by the National Weather Service Shreveport LA. The alert was sent at 2:16 PM CDT on June 16, 2026, and is effective from that time. It carries a severity of Severe, urgency of Expected, and certainty of Likely.

Minor flooding is forecast. At flood stage of 161.0 feet, expect the gravel parking lot to be flooded, water beginning to overflow the gravel road, and about a foot of overflow across the left bank of the river looking downstream. At 1:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 160.4 feet.
Timeline
The river will rise to flood stage Wednesday morning to early Wednesday afternoon. It will fall to 159.7 feet early Friday afternoon before rising above flood stage again late Sunday morning. The warning expires at 2:30 PM CDT on June 17, 2026, with the next statement to be issued Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 PM CDT.
