A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from May 17 at 9:43AM CDT and remains in effect until May 19 at 10:00PM CDT.

Affected Areas

The warning covers Andrew County, MO and Buchanan County, MO. Specific impacts include the 102 River at Maryville (Nodaway and Andrew Counties), the 102 River at Rosendale (Buchanan and Andrew Counties), and the Platte River near Agency (Buchanan County).

Moderate flooding is forecast. At the 102 River at Rosendale, the river is expected to rise above flood stage (18.0 feet) just after midnight tonight to a crest of 19.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water.
