Flood Warning issued by NWS San Juan PR. Effective from May 15 at 11:14 PM AST until May 16 at 2:15 AM AST.

Affected Areas

Aguada, PR; Aguadilla, PR; Moca, PR. Communities along the Rio Culebrinas basin.

What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement.

Expected Conditions

Flooding caused by excess runoff is expected. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. At 11:06 PM AST, USGS river gauge reports indicated that Rio Culebrinas at Margarita Damsite (MODP4) is at minor flood stage at 16.62 ft (minor flood stage is between 16.50 to 18.00 ft).
