Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert was sent at 1:42 PM CDT on June 11, 2026, and is effective from that time. The onset is Friday morning at 11:00 AM CDT, with the warning in effect until 2:00 PM CDT on June 13, 2026.

The warning covers Andrew County, MO and Buchanan County, MO, specifically for the 102 River at Rosendale.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (18.0 feet) late tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon, then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town. Lowland agricultural flooding begins at 13.0 feet.
