Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is occurring on the White River from Spencer southward. At 20.0 feet, most low bottomlands flood, flooding begins in higher bottomlands, high water affects residents in Pottsville river cabins, and specific roads including Pottsville Road, North C Street, Catt Street, and Giro Road are impacted. Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
Timeline
The warning is in effect until Saturday, August 29. The river is expected to crest at 19.8 feet at Hazleton Tuesday evening and fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. Flooding is predicted to conclude Friday.
