Flood Warning issued by NWS Wilmington OH. Effective from September 21 at 10:09AM EDT, with onset at 2:00PM EDT. Expires September 21 at 10:15PM EDT and ends September 23 at 3:00PM EDT.

Pike County, OH and Scioto County, OH. Specifically the Scioto River at Piketon. Scioto and Camp Creek Townships in southern Pike County experience the most significant flooding.

Avoid areas affected by backwater flooding along creeks flowing into the Scioto River and stretches of several low-lying roads near the river.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 9:00 AM EDT the stage was 18.4 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (20.0 feet) this afternoon to a crest of 22.4 feet tomorrow morning before falling below flood stage Wednesday morning. At 23.0 feet, backwater flooding worsens along creeks flowing into the Scioto River.
