Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from 4:58 AM EDT September 20, 2026 until 1:00 PM EDT September 20, 2026. The alert replaces a prior Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Northern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio, Northwestern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio, and Northern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio. Specific locations include Wellston, Mcarthur, Hamden, Allensville, Byer, and Eagle Mills.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches possible. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
