Northwestern Hancock County and southwestern Pearl River County in southern Mississippi, including Picayune.

What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive through flooded roads.

Expected Conditions

Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. As much as 5 to 8 inches of rain fell this morning. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
