Flood Warning issued by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is now in effect from late Wednesday night to Friday evening.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.7 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday morning to a crest of 20.5 feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. At 23.5 feet, rural areas along the river which are not protected by levees flood.
