A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Flagstaff AZ. The alert is effective from August 31 at 2:35 PM MST until August 31 at 5:30 PM MST.

Yavapai County in west central Arizona, including Paulden and State Route 89 near mile marker 338. Creeks and washes mentioned include Mud Tank Wash, Antelope Wash, Indian Springs Wash, Walnut Creek, Pine Creek, Williamson Valley Wash and Big Chino Wash.

What You Should Do

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur. Some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well. Avoid flooded areas.

Expected Conditions

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
