Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Peachtree City GA. Effective from 3:15 PM EDT June 20, 2026 until 9:15 PM EDT June 20, 2026. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Northwestern Macon County, Northeastern Marion County, South Central Talbot County, and Southwestern Taylor County in west central Georgia. Specific locations include Butler, Junction City, Rupert, Charing, Howard and Mauk.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
