Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from June 18 at 3:17 AM EDT until June 18 at 6:45 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
Vinton County in southeastern Ohio. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Mcarthur, Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski, Creola, Allensville and Eagle Mills.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

At 3:17 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
